Maritime Institute in Gdansk as a partner in the project BSR/Nordic Sustainable Protein Production Initiative have a pleasure to invite on International workshop Alternative feed protein potentials in Nordic Bioeconomy, which will be held on 16th June 2015 in Tjele (Denmark). The workshop is organizing by Agro Business Park and Aarhus University.

The program provides workshop sessions on: future feed proteins, agriculture feed protein potentials in BSR, marine, forestry and insect protein potentials, bioeconomy and life cycle assessment (LCA).

The detailed program of the workshop includes a wide range of topics on alternative protein sources: mapping of protein potentials in Baltic Sea Region, acquisition proteins from legume crops (dry) and green leaves (fresh), algae, mussels, invertebrates and fish discard as protein source, waste streams for insect and single cell proteins, bioeconomy potentials in business and society, and discussion.

During the workshop is also planned a visit to the grass protein extraction laboratory at Aarhus University
